Anger Management for Healthcare Professionals

You are on the right webpage!

The UC San Diego PACE Program is excited to announce that Anger Management for Healthcare Professionals has been changed to Managing High Impact Emotions for Healthcare Professionals (HIE). The change in name reflects the fact that this course has always sought to assist healthcare providers manage high impact emotions of all sorts, not just anger. We know that disruptive behavior can take on many forms, from outwardly angry to passive aggressive, and we felt that it was appropriate and necessary to rename this course to more broadly encompass the behaviors that some healthcare providers struggle to effectively demonstrate in the workplace and to remove the negative connotations associated with the word, “anger.” All elements of the course including its structure, duration, cost, and CME credits, remain the same. We hope that this name change will help reduce apprehension for participants taking this course and lead to higher engagement and better outcomes in their workplaces as a result.
